INDIANAPOLIS?The 2007 Indianapolis Tennis Championships announced today that daily tickets are now on sale. The Championships, formerly known as the RCA Championships, is looking to expand on last year?s success in box office sales. The event will be held July 21-29 at the Indianapolis Tennis Center on the campus of IUPUI.

The 2007 Championships, having already secured Andy Roddick, No. 3 on the ATP Rankings, continues to recruit the top players in the world. ?Andy?s commitment provides the Indianapolis Tennis Championships with one of the top drawing players on the ATP Tour,? said Indianapolis Tennis Championships Tournament Director Kevin Martin. ?At the same time we are working very hard to bring the other top Americans and International tennis players to Indianapolis.?

The 2006 RCA Championships achieved a tournament record in onsite box office sales. This was attributed largely to Andy Roddick playing both singles and doubles, giving fans nine opportunities to see the popular American. The 2006 final not only entertained the fans on-site but had the highest viewership of all the US Open Series finals and was voted the best final of the US Open Series by Tennis Magazine.

In addition to attracting top tennis players, The Championships continues to improve the overall fan experience. The 2006 Championships debuted a new instant replay technology, and the first phase of a seating reconfiguration on Stadium Court The 2007 event has already made a commitment to an enhanced fan experience by adding 200 new courtside seats in front of the existing North and South stands. These VIP padded seats, which are among the best in the stadium, are available to the public. Tournament Director Martin stated, ?We will get our fans as close to the stadium court action as we can and they will be amazed by the experience.?
